- DETAIL On behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, the Korean-German Energy Partnership Team in cooperation with AHK Korea, COEX and KBIA is organizing an expert exchange and networking session to discuss the latest trends and opportunities in the field of battery energy storage systems. As Korea and Germany strive to achieve their carbon neutrality targets—2050 and 2045, respectively—advancing renewable energy adoption and fostering flexibility in power systems have become key priorities. This event will bring together experts from Korea and Germany to assess the current state of BESS deployment, provide insights into policy and market frameworks, and explore opportunities for bilateral cooperation.
